Privacy Policy — Chrome Extensions

Last updated: June 2026

This Policy applies to the Chrome browser extensions published by appsbygio (“we”), currently:

  • Export Mercado Livre to CSV — exporter for Mercado Livre search result pages.
  • Export Shopee to CSV — exporter for Shopee search result pages.

1. Summary

Our extensions do not collect, store or transmit any personal data. All processing happens locally in your browser and only when you click to export. No servers of ours are involved, there is no login, no tracking, no analytics and no cookies of our own.

2. How they work

When you are on a supported site's search page and trigger the extension, it reads the products shown on that page (in your own browser session) and builds a CSV or JSON file that is downloaded directly to your computer. The data never leaves your browser and is not sent to us or to any third party.

3. Data processed locally

The data handled is public product information visible on the search page (for example: title, price, rating, sales volume, seller/shop and product link). This data is converted into a file and delivered to you. No personal information about you is read, collected or stored.

4. Permissions and why they are needed

  • activeTab — lets the extension read the current tab's content only when you click “Extract”, to obtain the products from the search you are viewing.
  • scripting — lets the extension run, on your click, the code that collects the products on the page and converts them to CSV/JSON.
  • Host permissions (supported sites only) — the extension works exclusively on the respective site's domains (Mercado Livre or Shopee marketplaces); it has no access to any other site you visit.

5. Site session (Shopee)

To list the search products, the Shopee extension uses your own existing session on the site, from your browser, the same way the page itself does when it shows the results. The extension does not access, store or transmit your credentials or cookies; they stay in your browser, under your control.

6. Remote code

The extensions do not download or execute remote code. All code runs locally from the package published on the Chrome Web Store.

7. Use in accordance with site terms

The extensions are productivity tools that simply make it easier to export data that is already visible to you on screen. Use of the exported data is the user's responsibility, who must respect the terms of service of the respective sites and applicable law.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy periodically. The current version will always be available on this page.
