This Policy applies to the Chrome browser extensions published by appsbygio (“we”), currently:
Our extensions do not collect, store or transmit any personal data. All product processing happens locally in your browser. Only two things leave your browser for a server of ours: the Pro subscription check (section 6) and a small amount of anonymous usage data (section 7). Neither of them sends the addresses of the pages you visit or anything read from them. There is no login and no own cookies.
When you are on a supported site's search page and trigger the extension, it reads the products shown on that page (in your own browser session) and builds a CSV or JSON file that is downloaded directly to your computer. The data never leaves your browser and is not sent to us or to any third party.
The data handled is public product information visible on the search page (for example: title, price, rating, sales volume, seller/shop and product link). This data is converted into a file and delivered to you. No personal information about you is read, collected or stored.
The Upwork extension handles what Upwork itself shows in a job search or a talent search: job posts (title, budget, skills, description and the client details Upwork displays) and the profile summary of each freelancer in the results (name as displayed, title, country, hourly rate, earnings, job success and skills; earnings and job success that a freelancer chose to hide stay hidden). It is handled the same way: turned into a file on your computer and never sent to us or to any third party.
To list the search products, the Shopee extension uses your own existing session on the site, from your browser, the same way the page itself does when it shows the results. The extension does not access, store or transmit your credentials or cookies; they stay in your browser, under your control.
The extensions have an optional paid plan, Pro. To know whether the subscription is active, the extension asks our server at pro.appsbygio.com, sending only: a random identifier generated at install time (it does not identify you) and, if you subscribed, the payment session identifier or the subscription key. No data from Shopee, Mercado Libre or Upwork pages, no cookies and no credentials are sent.
Payment is processed by Stripe (stripe.com) on its checkout page. We do not receive or store card data. Stripe keeps the e-mail entered at checkout and the billing history, under the Stripe privacy policy. The subscription can be cancelled at any time through the subscription portal (link in the extension popup and at pro.appsbygio.com).
So that we know the extensions are working and which features are worth keeping, they send a small amount of anonymous usage data to the same server as the subscription check (pro.appsbygio.com). What is sent: the random identifier generated at install time, the extension version, the store it was installed from, the kind of page an extraction ran on (search, category, shop, reviews, variants, jobs or talent), how many rows it produced, whether the Pro lock was clicked, and the text of an error message when an extraction fails. Error messages have web addresses, e-mail addresses and long identifiers removed before being sent.
What is never sent: the address of the pages you visit, what you searched for, product identifiers, prices, seller or product names, job or freelancer details, or anything else read from a Shopee, Mercado Libre or Upwork page. This data is not used for advertising or profiling, is never sold or shared, and no third-party analytics service is involved: it goes only to our own server.
The extensions do not download or execute remote code. All code runs locally from the package published on the Chrome Web Store.
The extensions are productivity tools that simply make it easier to export data that is already visible to you on screen. Use of the exported data is the user's responsibility, who must respect the terms of service of the respective sites and applicable law.
We may update this Policy periodically. The current version will always be available on this page.
